In a day that would have been good for any president, Donald Trump had a series of positive announcements on 5/12/25 that former presidents would have dreamed of. In one day, President Trump declared that the last American hostage held by Hamas was being released. This poor guy was tortured by Islamic extremists for nineteen months.

Donald said that he negotiated a cease-fire between the two nuclear powers in India and Pakistan. The two nations had been bombing one another again. These two nations are always at each other’s throats. There is a story from the past that the closest the world came to nuclear Armageddon was when the Soviet Union stepped in at the last second and stopped the two countries from nuking one another.

Trump announced that he had gotten Putin from Russia and Zelenskyy from Ukraine to sit down face-to-face in Turkey to discuss an end to the war. The Russian/Ukrainian War was the stone in the West’s shoe from Europe to America. A war that President Joe Biden caused and fueled finally had a chance to come to an end.

President Trump also announced that he was signing an executive order and was going to make some other moves to cut the cost of pharmaceuticals by 30%-80% for all Americans. Every politician in my lifetime claimed they would take on the pharmaceutical companies, but never did. They were too busy being bought off by that industry. Big Pharma gave Donald Trump one hundred million dollars for his campaign to become president, and Donald J. Trump had no problem with slapping them around a bit anyway, showing you cannot buy this American President.

President Donald Trump also let America know that he would be flying over to Saudi Arabia to sit down with several Arab nations to cut economic deals that would benefit our nation. He also hinted while he was over there in the Middle East that he might fly over to Turkey and sit down with Putin and Zelenskyy if that would help things. Former American Presidents would sit in awe, wishing they could have had a day like that as president. What they didn’t realize was that they could have, but not one of them knew how to wield the powers of the American presidency like President Donald J. Trump.
