June 26, 2025Obama Outperformed Trump On Deportations
It is wild to realize that Obama deported almost double what Trump is currently doing. Sean Spicer played on his podcast a video of Obama being questioned about deporting over 1000 people a day, for an average of around 35,000 a month. The reporter Jose Diaz-Balart asks questions about Obama’s deportations to his face from the viewpoint that they are cruel. President Obama explained to the bothered reporter the importance of the law.
Fast forward to 2025 and Trump’s best month; he has only deported around 17,000 so far. Obama’s nickname of “Deporter-in-Chief”, while well-earned, was all that remained in the left’s memory of the Democrat Party’s mass deportations. Today, Trump’s deportation numbers pale in comparison to Barack Obama’s; yet, Trump is cast as the demon. You would never know any of this if you followed the narrative of the press today.
The sting to America First is that Trump’s big agenda and mandate were deportation, yet Trump is painted as the devil by the leftist press. Barack outshone Donald with nothing more than a footnote of a nickname for future historians. President Trump is hounded by the same people who turned their collective heads to Obama holding up the same law. I think it is time that MAGA asks the question, why can’t Trump deport 1000 people a day like Obama, and who or what is holding that back?
Trump said, “We’re going to have the largest deportation,” he stated at a June campaign rally in Racine, Wisconsin, adding, “We have no choice”. He has also stated that his administration would be “planning on executing mass deportations on undocumented immigrants ‘very quickly’ after he takes office, reiterating his desire to ‘get the criminals out of our country’.” These were the words of a man who does what he says he’s going to do, so where can we find the bottleneck that is blocking this promise becoming manifest destiny?
