Now, let’s take a step back and think about the last campaign for the White House. If Trump went around telling everyone before November of 2024 that he was going to bring Greenland into our fold, take over control of the Panama Canal, demand that Canada become the 51^st state, and he would bomb Iran, would that have affected the vote? Would people have voted for that agenda? This is the time that those of us in the America First movement help prevent this Iran thing from turning into another endless war.

It is ok to say that we are fine with Trump wrecking Iran’s nuclear ambitions, but not a step more. Trump will tell people in the movement that you are betraying the movement by holding him to account on his promise to end the endless wars. However, nothing could be further from the truth. Anything after bombing the Iranian nuclear sites is mission creep for another endless war in the desert of the Middle East. One more move towards helping Israel, in a war that is not ours, is a betrayal of Trump’s promise.

The people, and politicians, who will now stand up, and rein in Trump and the “War Pigs” Black Sabbath warned us about ARE the heroes. “Pulling the wool over someone’s eyes” is the idiom of the day. Either MAGA has core beliefs or it doesn’t. We are outside the boundaries of the structure of the America First movement, which was crafted by the voters, one vote at a time, and for this kind of moment.

The MAGA red-hat-wearing mob will follow Donald Trump into a swamp of hypocrisy, but America First, HAHA, and DOGE types will not. Regime change flirtations will shatter the coalition, the movement, and Trump’s legacy forever. But in the end, we must always remember that you have to watch what Trump does and not what he says. Donald bombed Iran and then stopped. He worked towards a peace between Iran and Israel, and not an endless war.
