June 6, 2025Book Publishing: Money Laundering Scheme For Democrats?
I think it is time to ask the question of whether or not the book publishing industry is nothing more than a money laundering scheme for Democrats. It hit me the other day that all of these books deal with enormously insane advances to Democrats are plenty. It’s rare to see the sales of the book even cover the advance given to the so-called author. It seems like throwing money away, until I realize, maybe not. It would not be a waste of money if the real reason for its existence were money laundering.
Now, the art world has long been known for money laundering. We all saw Hunter Biden get crazy money for childlike paintings and knew what was going on there. I haven’t heard of anyone giving Hunter any more money for his art since his father left the White House. Maybe, in this regard, the book publishing industry is the new way to launder money, or perhaps it has always been that.
A world with secret donors who can buy a crazy amount of books with just one purchase could be what is happening here. Just the unspeakable advances that are given to Democrats who could never write, read, or sell a book if their life depended on it. Do you know how hard it is to get a book publisher to publish a book for an unknown author, even one who is a great writer?
Well, it is nearly impossible; they ask you one thing and one thing only when you try. Do you have a platform to sell your book? Do you have a social media following of millions that is big enough to even get a book deal? I heard on the Joe Rogan podcast that this is also going on in the comedy world in the clubs; if a comic attempts to get on stage, they are asked how many Instagram followers they have. The music industry is the same thing; it is almost impossible to break through. I think the whole book publishing thing is a scam. I say that as an Indie author who has to sell his books one at a time.
