The concept that you know you are over the target when you are drawing fire encompasses Glenn Greenwald’s entire career. Glenn lives over the target; he is always there, over the target, and the man constantly takes fire from the left and the right. This is the life of one of the last of the Mohican journalists who is always there to count on to zoom in on the bullseye of truth.

So, depending on what Glenn is investigating, it will indicate which group is sending fire his way. Greenwald is a real journalist, you know, the kind of old-style newspaperman running down the story kind of newsman.  Glenn does not care if he offends the left or the right, as he feels that right and wrong hang in the balance. Greenwald is a superstar journalist who bows down to nobody, and he always has somebody’s panties in a twist.

Glenn Greenwald practices a journalism that Hollywood types can only hope to play in a movie or in a Broadway play; he is the real deal. It is rare these days, in the era of fake news, corporate-captured media, and news legacy, to see somebody truly speak truth to power. Currently, Glenn is part of a group of journalists that I can count on one hand that is still there doing the business of the First Amendment. The rest are just shameful posers standing in the shadow of the giants of the past, and this handful of journalist warriors we have today.

Now, we all know Glenn is over another target because the videotape of Glenn’s sex life was released. Somebody or somebodies do not like Glenn looking into them, which tells me he is getting close to something big. This is usually the last shot out from the cloud of doom before a reporter dies some mysterious death. It feels like Glenn is at the spot. I hope I am wrong, but there seem to be some big feathers that have been ruffled out there to do something like this to Mr. Greenwald.

These malevolent dark forces that are on Glenn right now should know that the rest of us thinking monkeys out here do not give a dam what Glenn Greenwald does behind his curtains, but it seems like there must be something terrible going on behind yours. As for Glenn, if anyone gives you shit over that video, just tell them you are a big fan of the band KISS, and like the song says, “LICK IT UP, IT’S ONLY RIGHT NOW!”
