A disquieting realization has increasingly emerged over the last decade. Many of these beloved Hollywood figures, once elevated by our collective adoration and financial support, appear to harbor a profound disdain for the very working-class individuals who propelled them to their opulent heights. They despise MAGA, and they say the most hateful things about the America First movement. There are countless examples; to even try to list all of them would be too arduous and time-consuming. Actor Jeff Daniels is the latest. It was reported that he expressed hope that Republicans who voted for Trump would lose money.

We, the audience, are the essential engine of the Hollywood elite’s economic machine. Every ticket purchased, every subscription renewed, every piece of merchandise bought, contributes directly to the financial ecosystems that sustain these out-of-touch celebrities. Our collective desire for entertainment, our willingness to suspend disbelief, and our emotional investment in the characters they portray are the invisible forces that transform talented individuals into global icons.

But we have to remember they are not the characters that they betray on film; in many cases, they don’t have an identity of self. They don’t know who they are. Many are completely self-unaware of how they come across as unmeritorious. When they spend a life making you believe you’re somebody else, as time slips by, they never had time to learn who they are. Because of this phenomenon, they became insufferable cockwombles.

The chasm between the lives of the working class and the Hollywood elite has become increasingly apparent, often manifesting in public statements, political stances, and loathsome declarations by actors and musicians that betray a fundamental lack of understanding of who buttered their bread. Their pronouncements on social issues broadcast on social media come across as condescending or out of touch, particularly when delivered from the comfort of their gated communities and private jets.

These scamps started “cancel culture, “they pushed wokeness, and it’s hard to find someone we all once loved that did not turn out to be an asshole. The irony is stark; the very people who consume their art, who line their pockets, and who often share similar dreams of a better life, are the ones frequently dismissed or even overtly ridiculed by those condescending Hollywood whores. As for the actor Jeff Daniels, it would be ironic if he lost money because of artificial intelligence and was replaced. Karma is a bitch, Jeffrey.
