Over and over again, if something is going on in our country with the Trump administration, CNN doesn’t cover it. Millions of people in the middle of a live event click over to CNN just to see if they are covering something important. Most of the time, not only are they not covering something unfolding live, but when you click the remote, there’s “crazy” running unabated over there.

The people who sadly watch and depend on CNN for their news miss so much that is going on in the world. When you speak to their viewers, you can tell instantly they are CNN viewers when they display their crushing ignorance about this or that.  Incredibly, there is no massive rehaul of the network that has lost all credibility. CNN had a special place in our hearts because we watched it grow up.

Generation X was there from the beginning and witnessed how it spread around the world. Americans understood at the time that what Ted Turner was doing was essential and relevant. If there was something important going on in the world, we would turn on CNN to see what was happening. Now, all you’ll see on CNN is only things that the progressive left approves of, and we all know those are weird things. Transmania, coddling criminal aliens, and Trump Derangement Syndrome are what you get when you turn on CNN.

Nobody understands why on Earth CNN is just fine sitting at the bottom of the ratings for so long. It does not make any sense not to try and save this jewel of the past. Until CNN executives remove themselves, and the faces of failed hosts are taken off the air, there is no hope for a comeback. The news network forgot about doing the news and got into partisan politics. That is not just my opinion, it was one of the last things said by Ted Turner publicly as he slipped further into Lewy Body dementia. While Ted lingers in that darkness, the faces of CNN eviscerate what he built.  There is no evidence that CNN will ever be saved, and for many of us, Larry King, Anthony Bourdain, and Stanley Tucci fans, it makes us sad.
