Breaking the Laws of Political Gravity

In Archives

What left me befuddled throughout the process and progress of this last election was the fact that, what I was seeing simply wasn’t possible. Every once in a while, we’ll see something in life that is impossible and we’ll sit back and say, “Wow!  Look at that; that’s impossible!” However, when this anomaly occurs; it is usually a singular event and not what we see here.

Here, Obama, over and over again, did things that were simply not possible in the American political landscape. In the political world, there are axioms that cannot be overcome. The laws of political gravity will bring down to the ground any politician that would go too far or step into something that he or she cannot do. Like gravity itself, political gravity will pull down the feet of anyone running for office that would dare to fly.

Some of the things that Obama did would have killed any chance for any person seeking the office of the Presidency of the United States. Give me one example where a politician could have sat in such a Radical Church for twenty years and have that Church be exposed at the level Trinity Baptist Church was and still have a political career as dog catcher, let alone the presidency? It’s not possible.

Give me an example of any politician that could have such ties to a domestic bomber who attacked police stations and government buildings and never have it knock him or her out of the race. It’s not possible. Any one of Obama’s nefarious associations by itself would have ruined any chance of his run for the white house, let alone the totality of all of them as a whole.

Yet once again political gravity did not exist. None of it mattered. How would it have been possible to have such a desirous press and not at least have one of its own break ranks and go off and uncover who this man really is? To have the entire press corp under some spell and abandon its core integrity and do nothing but become a willing partner in this heist, is not possible. Yet once again it was done. I could go on and on.

When I see the impossible become possible over and over again, I have to ask myself, “How did this happen?”  I’ve heard many explanations on why and how Obama won, but none of them feel right to me. It doesn’t address the impossibility aspect of all this. The quandary of breaking political gravity here has not yet been apperceived.
