The Republican Congress is standing in the way of the Trump Agenda and more importantly the people’s agenda. We want our tax cuts, we want our infrastructure rolling and we demand the repeal of Obamacare. The Congress led by Senator Mitch McConnell, who spent eight years blocking everything he could of President Obama’s agenda, is now blocking President Trump.
Does Senator McConnell believe he is president? Does McConnell believe he is more powerful than an American President? Who does Mitch think he is? Somehow, a whole lot of the power landed up in the hands of one man. Power that was not envisioned by our founding fathers and power the American People did not vote for in the 2016 presidential race.
I would like to know whether or not Mitch thinks the people of this nation are going to blame President Trump for this anemic inaction or whether he believes Congress will be hung with this political Scarlet Letter. Because it is clear to me, we will not blame President Trump. These epic failures are owned lock, stock, and barrel by the Republican Congress. Nothing could be clearer.
I am hoping that the populist movement takes down the establishment’s usual suspects in the primary for the 2018 mid term elections. I am tired of these worn out old faces that have been there for decades enriching themselves and their families. I want them all gone starting with the destructive and politically poisonous Senator John McCain.
